Dark Park rests her morning. Tree limbs
Are actual heroes. They brandish
Like Personally great Greek gods, still in motion
Forever.
I park the sedan, why the fever of ice and consumerism
Burns the soul as crispy as phried chicken edges.
In parking, our sweat beads, steering wheels recede.
My eyes flow, like sight, and I am
Sentient.
