Fell asleep just in time.
Life was a Level One
Level 2 happened for Level 4
to go to the forested Level 3
Sand on the Land 2 feet deep on Level 2
and a stone wall and a stone table
and a hot sunny day. Washing myself in the
Blue sky, the drip of air, leave the ocean
below and smaller sand planet to be gone
an atom.
Level 3, 5-ton hairy caterpillar, wet
mud and thick moss and huge eyes pierce
my nards.
Level 4 bleeding bruises of cloudful space
dullest pain, slowest thought to the final
edge, farthest human - face, head, chest, back, limbs,
guts, feeling a dead star, waiting still and black,
barely softest breath, the end turns around
we go beyond . . .
