Water vapor plays tricks on her eyes and the greenest leaves quiver on the morning sun wakes. Magda steps slowly toward the butterfly, bigger than two of her, bigger than any human she's seen.
SWAAPAAPAP! The giant insect flutters and alights, gusting Magda's hair up as if she's being electrocuted to death.
On the corner of the land of Nustia, Magdalena feels as forgotten as the environs and their inhabitants.
She reaches her longest finger until the tip senses a vibrating current.
The bars and beams sporadically emit a hazy green glow.
